Botox To Look Years

BOTOX Cosmetic is a
therapeutic muscle relaxing agent used to
improve the appearance of wrinkels such as
worry lines, laugh lines, and crow's feet.
A tiny amount of BOTOX is
injected into a precise muscle on the face
using a micro-needle. That allows the muscle to
relax... and that makes the wrinkle disappear
for a few months and helps prevent the wrinkle
from deepening and becoming permanent.
Results can be seen in a
couple of days from one simple 15 minute
treatment session. No anesthesia is needed and
no downtime is required for recovery. You can
go straight from the treatment to work or an
appointment.
Maintenance therapy is
needed every 4 to 6 months for maximum
benefit.
Injectable
Fillers
Dermal fillers (
Restylane and Juvaderm) are
long lasting cosmetic fillers that are
made of the naturally occurring substance,
hyaluronic acid. When injected
under the skin into the dermis, the substance
forms a soft gel which is used to restore lost
volume and to fill in wrinkles and scars.
Common areas treated with dermal fillers are
the deep grooves which form with aging from the
corners of the nose to the corners of the
mouth, and the “marionette lines” which run
from the corners of the mouth down the sides of
the chin. The lips tend
to shrink and lose definition with age and the
corners of the mouth turn downward forming the
so called, “lipstick bleed
lines”.
Dermal fillers are excellent for
restoring the youthful integrity of the
mouth and can make the face look several
years younger.
The treatment requires a local anesthetic and
takes about 30 minutes to perform. Minor
bruising should be expected and results last
about 6 -8 months before a touch-up is
suggested.
